Dresses

27 July 2014

Hey guys! I took photos for this post quite a while ago but I'm only just writing it up,woops. But I wore this on a sunny day and now it's being sunny and hot in England. Now although this is an outfit that would go well with tights, in fact I think it would look really cute in winter with tights and a checkered shirt and dark lipstick and black boots, I have loads of dresses and things that just don't go well with tights, because it's too much of a dark outfit with tights or it just looks better tightless and now it's summer these outfits can finally happen! Wooo.

But I will give you examples of outfits like this in future posts. Hopefully.
Dress- H&M (I cant find it on the website but this one is similar)
Denim Shirt- Topshop [old]{similar here}
Also, I have no idea where the lacy socks are from, but let me tell you they are adorable!
However today it was sunny but not hot enough to just wear this tshirt dress by itself so I paired it with a supper baggy denim shirt I got ages ago when the whole denim shirt trend was happening. Although when that was happening I rarely wore it and now it's over I always am. Late to join the denim party I suppose.

The dress is really plain so I feel like it needs some form of bold necklace or bracelets and rings. I finally brought midi rings the other day and now I just want to buy loads more! I love those collections of rings which you can get from Topshop and Urban Outfitters but jeeez they're expenisve. As most of my clothes  are, this dress is really comfy, however I'm so used to wearing more floaty dresses and although this one isn't tight it's not that baggy either but I really like the shape if this dress. There are slits at the side which I think are to make it easier to walk in but I'm not really sure. But it's easy to walk in and comfortable, plus can be worn in so many ways and was extremely cheap. Good ol' H&M, I'm really loving it there recently!
Rings- Primark (except the bottom right one on the left)
Necklace- Urban Outfitters
Anyway, that's it for today guys. Hope you're all having a splendid summer and I'll be back next week! I'm excited because I should be getting my sisters old laptop soon and although it's older than mine, mine ones fan doesn't work and it's not in warranty or some malarkey like that which I don't really understand, but hopefully when I get her laptop it will be so much easier to blog since my laptop won't be overheating every five minutes!

Baked To Last Bronzer

20 July 2014

Hello! So in this Baked To Last Blush post I talked about the baked to last blush I got from the Body Shop and now I'm going to tell you about the baked to last bronzer.

This one was also pretty pricey and to be honest I don't think it was worth the £16.
Firstly, its very shimmery, which I guess you can tell from the packaging but still, mixed with the shimmery blush it is not a good look! I look like a giant speck of glitter!
Can buy here. Also I do use the same brush for bronzer and blusher, I know I should swap them but oh well.
However the thing I do like about this is that it makes you look you have a tan, but in a very subtle natural way. But this is the only thing it achieves. It doesn't really help define my cheekbones. It just makes me look tanned, which isn't really my aim when I wear bronzer. However I do really like the tanned look it gives.
At first it was quite hard to use. You have to be careful about how much you get onto the brush and you have to be quite a pro contourer to use it I think, because it can be quite hard to blend and if you take a smidgen too much you will look like you've wiped mud on your cheeks
When I made this blog post a while ago I didn't really like the bronzer, but now I love it. I think its because now I know how to use and how much to take up and where to apply and all that jazz and I have been complimented a few times on the bronzer. It doesn't really define your cheekbones that much, but it does a little bit and gives you a great extra tan, perfect for summer!

I tried to show a sawtch of it for you guys but it didn't work. Trust me though, it is good just very easy to mess up.

Next time, I think I'll buy a matte bronzer and reserve this for more summery days. I really want Hoola but it's a bit far out of my price range at the moment.
I also really want the sleek face form palette, but I don't really need a blush, but I do need a bronzer and a highlighter! I have brought the MUA highlighter but I found it doesn't last very long but since I've decided I do like contouring (I brought the cheap highlighter to make sure I would) I think I may buy the sleek face form palette. Unless you guys have any other ideas on a matte  bronzer I can buy, please let me know!

Rimmel Micro Eye Liner

16 July 2014

Hello everyone! I made this post and have been meaning to share it with you for ages but I lost the pictures but woo! I found them! Now I can finally advise you to not buy this eyeliner!

A while ago I brought the  Rimmel London ScandalEyes Precision Micro Eye Liner. It was kind of a rush buy though, because I just wanted to go home and eat and I didn't know much about the liner and thought I'd just buy it since it was cheaper than the L'Oreal Super Slim Liner I usually get and thought I'd try something new, but oh how I regretted that decision.

Now although I do like thin eyeliner, this was too thin. It didn't apply easily and left gaps in between the line and my lashes which was not the aim and no matter how hard I tried I just could not fill in that gap. I think that was also due to how stiff the tip was, it didn't bend at all and felt quite harsh on my eye. You know some liners just glide on? Yeah, this one really doesn't.
Also to be super picky, the actual pen bit is quite thick and I prefer to hold a slimmer pen. I'm not sure why but I feel like it works better for me. Not only that, but it only lasts around half an hour before it begins to smudge and turn grey.

The smaller line is usually how it comes out. Also please excuse my unpainted nails.
Looking back at the reviews for this product, it looks like I'm not the only one who doesn't like this eyeliner.I wish I done my research before I went to go buy an eyeliner. I like to check reviews of products when I do a review for you guys so I can see if it's a general opinion or if most other people like it, so I can put it in perspective for you guys and be like 'I personally like it, but most people don't' and vica verca. Oh well, you live and you learn.

Just, don't buy this eyeliner. Ever.
So dramatic, I feel like I'm giving important life advice.

I have now gone back to my L'Oreal Super Slim Liner and boy how I've missed how easy I find that one to use. I also brought a liquid liner the other day, so I can possibly begin to learn the trade of liquid liner. I do quite like gel eyeliner, but I find it hard to do a flick so only use that for special occasions, since it lasts so long.

Anyway, goodbye for now guys and I will sort out my blogging schedule, although I mentally planned to post this later on into the month as a good reserve. However today I was going to take outfit pictures but then I was really lazy and took ages to get ready so I didn't have time. Ill find a replacement. I can't wait till I get a steady post schedule. But yeah, adios for now amigos!

Baked To Last Blush

13 July 2014

Hi guys!

For a while now I have been using a blusher and bronzer from the Body Shop and I realised I have never shared it with you, which is odd because they are really great product!

I brought the Baked To Last Blush I have from there is really pinky and natural. It's perfect for summer and just givers you a kind of healthy glow. It is quite pricey but I thought I would treat myself. The two shades mix together really well to give a perfect look. It is shimmery, but not so much that when I look at my face I look like someone has poured glitter all over me!
I wanted a picture of it on but that picture didn't really work out, but it is such a lovely colour.

I'm never really someone to touch up their makeup during the day, because usually I'm at school and I just don't care, or I'm with my friends who don't really are much about makeup so I never really think about touching it up. However this doesn't last 8 hours as it claims, I'm not really sure how long it lasts but not that long. Yet it can easily be adjusted during the day. It's really easy to apply, but I don't know if it's just me or if everyone has this problem, but a lot goes a long way. When I first started using it, I used to spend a few minutes after applying it, rigorously trying to rub it off without messing up all my other makeup!
Now I have learnt the ways and I absolutely love this blush. It's perfect for spring and summer and just gives really natural pink tones to your face. Also from a lot of reviews I've read, it lasts a very long time, which I kind of already guessed since a little bit goes a loong way, so it is worth the price!

Bye for now guys! I will hopefully have a post up on Wednesday, I'm sorry I havent been as active recently. I dont really have an excuse but I will become better. Also it's my summer holidays in one week, wooo

Wolf Top

6 July 2014

Hello! I lied! I'm sorry! I didn't post Wednesday but soon, soon I will sort everything out and posting schedules. I even brought (a really ugly) diary to help prepare me, but let me tell you as soon as its 2015 I will be on top of things and I will buy myself a pretty diary straight away.
Also I'm still sorting out my blog, so please excuse the picture at the side, I will sort out everything eventually.

But today is yet another outfit posts, I have a future post coming about all the things I got from Camden because today includes on of those items and although the post has been in my drafts for ages, they shall come soon. Although I didn't really take any pictures whilst at Camden, because I didn't want to take my camera (I wish I had the confidence to just take it places) and my phone camera is really bad, but hopefully soon I'll either build up my courage and take my camera out with me more often, or I will get a phone upgrade..Even though that's not till next year but oh well.

I have a thing for animal tops and there is kind of a story behind this one but I think I've written about it in my future Camden post so I won't bore you with it twice. I also have a unicorn top which I posted about here and then this time I decided to go for a wolf top. I know, such a contrast, a light and fluffy unicorn to a dark and mysterious wolf. But yeah, I love animal tops and the sole purpose of me going to Camden was to get one, even though I'm pretty sure you can just get them off the internet. Both the tops I have a from a brand called The Mountain T-Shirts I think and although I only have two tops from them, they are both so comfy. Also the picture doesn't fade after a wash and you know when you have a picture on a top and you feel like you could just pic it off and it just feels like paint? (I hope other people get that anyway..) These t shirts aren't like that at all!
I took these pictures very late at night and in the second picture my face was just so terrible I had to cover it up, also sorry for the bags everywhere. I have no idea why i didn't more them at the time!
Top- Camden (similar online here)
Leggings- I don't know where from, lets just go with Asos
Socks- Topshop
Hoodie- Primark (mens)
Bandanna-Camden (similar here
I went comfy, and paired it with leggings and a green hoodie, but also some frilly socks. I can't remember what I was doing the day i wore this, but I remember being so comfy and feeling so clean. I hadn't worn leggings in so long and then I finally did and I forgot how different they feel to jeans, although to be honest my jeans are really comfy.
I also somehow managed to do an alright messy bun that day (although by the time I took the pictures I had to redo the bun which wasn't half as good as before) and I put it with a bandanna I also got from Camden. I love bandannas so much recently, I have this purple one and a red one which I've had since a long as I can remember and I just want more! I also think they look so cute with a bikini, so when i go on holiday Ill definitely be taking some. I think I might order a blue one soon ready for summer.
Meant to be a close up of the tshirt so you can see it better but it didn't really work. Oh well
Goodbye for this week guys! I felt so determined earlier to write out ideas for blog posts and all that stuff but I'm too tired now. I always do this. I feel so motivated to blog but rather than write anything in my notebook I make a blog post and then after I'm too tired to write in my notebook so I go to sleep then by the morning I've forgotten my ideas. Oh well!
Also guys in this post I talked about this face product and I cant even explain to you guys how much more my skin has improved more than last time. In the mornings my face looks awake and clean and I don't have that many blemishes and I just cant get over how amazing it is! I feel like I've been sponsored or something, but I just really love this product and want you guys to know what a savoir it has been to my skin! But yeah, adios amigoooos.
