Models Own Matt Top Coat

24 December 2013

I mentioned the Models Own top coat that turns any nail varnish into matte in my post the other day I think briefly, but after using it quite a few times, I feel like I can now give you a proper review! Well this is kind of a review and kind of a 'Hey look at my nails!' type of post thing.

I started out with just some clear nail varnish and then done two coats of Revlon Vintage in shade 570. A while ago me and my mum brought this pack thing from Costco from Revlon full of 8 if I remember correctly of their 'best selling colours' some of them are quite summery, some are glittery and some are quite bright, good for going out. It is meant to dry very quickly, and it does. When you do the first coat the colour is still quite bold there, I don't know how to phrase this, but really you could just leave it at one coat but I do two to avoid chipping and to just make the colour better. It has lasted me two days, which is good for me since usually nail varnish only lasts me a day since I never wait for them to dry, but since these dry so quickly, that's not really a problem. However it has chipped a little bit but that's probably because I've been doing a lot of fiddly things with my nails recently which has encouraged the chipping. However, when I done it the other day it lasted around three days which I personally think is quite good, well for me anyway!

In the bottle it looks quite pinky and on the nails too in the picture it looks like a red that is quite pinky, but in real life it looks like a dark red.

It's a really nice maroon/burgundy colour which is great for Christmas. It's quite similar to the Barry M matte nail varnish I think, but I personally think this one is better, since it is so quick to dry and it looks great matte or shiny in my opinion.

Then I added the Models Own Matt Top Coat. It looks quite thick in the bottle, but it doesn't feel heavy on your nails at all, you can't feel it all really. You only need a thin layer to get a matte effect, which is really great considering I will probably be using this product a lot!
At first when you put it on it doesn't make a difference, but after it dries your nails instantly go matte, and it only takes a few seconds to dry which is great. It has the same brush as all other Model Own nail polishes, it spreads out easy across your nail and really gets everywhere the first time, so your whole nail is matte.

At first I didn't really think this product would work, but it does and is absolutely amazing! It dries so quickly and the effect lasts until you take it off! If you are thinking of buying a matte nail varnish, I honestly think you should buy this, then you can turn any of your colours matte!

I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A LOVELY CHRISTMAS AND ENJOY SPENDING TIME WITH YOUR FAMILY OR WHATEVER YOU ARE ALL DOING, HOPE YOU HAVE A FABLOUS TIME NO MATTER WHAT AND I SHALL WRITE AGAIN SOON!:D

Nails and Lips

22 December 2013

So if you've been reading some of my most recent posts, you may have found out that I really want a dark shaded lipstick, which I finally got the other day from one of my best friends in the Secret Santa we done!
'Lips in Beguiled'-Topshop

It's from the Kate Moss range from Rimmel, matte in shade 107.
I love it because although its a deep dark red with some hints of colour, it's not too bold for me. Part of me wishes I got the Topshop lipstick but I know that I probably wouldn't wear it since it's so far out my comfort zone, but maybe when I'm older. However it is beautiful and just when I went on to Topshop I have fallen in love with it again! But alas, next year!:) There is also a blush I really want from Topshop but they didn't have it in my local one and I'm a bit worried I won't get it for Christmas even though I've been wanting it for ages..I shall show you it another post, hopefully one where I show you all the make up I received at Christmas ;)

The lipstick I got is fairly good at lasting, but obviously eating and drinking makes it fade faster, but there's still a hint of red/purpleness but just not as bold as before. It's easy to apply and doesn't feel horrible on the lips, but I really need to start using lip balm since my lips are getting really dry and lipstick doesn't really help the situation! I really like my Kate Moss one though and I feel like it's easy to wear on a lot of occasions, however the one above would be more difficult to wear

A couple of weeks ago I went to Westfields with my friend, and at Models Own they had some sort of promotion going on, where you could buy 6 products for £20 and get a freebie. At first we were a bit special, £20 for only 6 products!? But then the woman told us it would like be getting two free nail varnishes, since she knew we only really wanted nail varnish from there and each nail varnish costs £5.
We decided we'd do it and get three products each since then it would only be £10 and we each got a freebie, who can resist a freebie!?
I ended up buying a light pink shade, this coat thing that you can put over any nail colour at all and it turns it matte! It's incredible and I was a bit worried that it wouldn't really work, but she showed me in the store and when I tried it when I got in, it literally turned my nail polish matte in only a few seconds! But I shall do a better review on these products late, today I'll show you the other polish I brought.

It's like a matte burgundy with glitter in it. it's very festive and pretty I feel. I love how even though it's glittery it's matte and when the woman told me I didn't really believe her, but it is! In the light you can see the glitter particles better and it's very evenly distributed. My pictures didn't really capture the whole beauty of the nail varnish and my poor nail painting skills making my nails look al messy doesn't really help you guys get a proper idea of the nail varnish, but it is so lovely and pretty. It also dries fairly quickly.
The only downside I can think of is that the lid of the bottle is velvet. Now don't get me wrong, I loove velvet, but I don't like the one on the lid. It's not a very nice feeling one and when I'm actually painting my nails, it just doesn't feel right.
However, overall the polish leaves a really nice effect and I would highly recommend if you are a fan of dark red/maroon/burgundy and a hint of glittery substance!

What lipsticks and nail varnishes have you been loving this winter! Oooh 4 more sleeps till Christmas!:D

The Christmas Tag

15 December 2013

FIRSTLY I am so sorry for not posting very regularly I've just been so busy recently, and you would think since this is the last week of this term at school we would have less homework and more time to relax, but apparently not!

SECONDLY Today I am doing the Christmas Tag, I haven't been tagged but I really want to do it and all the posts I've read say 'And I tag anyone who wants to do it!' So I shall take them up on that offer!

What's your favourite holiday film?
The Polar Express, I love it so much!:) I also really love Rise of The Guardians but that isn't really christmassy just wintery... and Frozen, oh my goodness I saw it yesterday and I love it I love it so much oh my goodness!

What's your favourite Christmas colour?
I don't really know what a 'Christmas Colour' is, but I do really love deep/dark reds this season

Do you open your presents Christmas Eve or Christmas Morning?
Christmas morning of course! Well actually on Christmas Eve we sometimes get given an early present like a pair of pajamas or fluffy socks or something, but yeah, Christmas Morning!

What's you favourite winter fragrance?
I don't really have one.. I like kind of the fragrance with 'spice' for a second but then afterwards it gets too much, I wish I liked the smell of cinnamon but I just don't! I prefer more summer floral fragrances, well not even that just those fragrances that make things smell clean but argh I don't know how to explain!

Woah I just realised how many exclamation marks I'm using.. I'll try and cut down woah there are loads

Favourite Christmas smell?
Again like above...no idea...

Candy cane or gingerbread men?
Ginger bread men! I haven't had one in ages though ohh how sad :(

Favourite Christmas song?
THERE ARE SO MANY okay I'll tell you a few, All I Want For Christmas (a classic), Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday, Santa Claus is Coming To Town, I'm going to be here for ages okay I'll leave it there

Have you ever made a snowman?
Once but not a good one..it wasn't like your traditional one like the picture I shall include, just a really short one that was ahh I don't know how to explain, but I remember me and my friend started making one then got bored so just shoved a scarf on, but actually
I think there was another time with another friend and we made an alright one...

What is most important about the holidays?
I really can't choose! Seeing my friends and family and celebrating altogether. I also love it so much when you buy someone a present and it's a complete surprise to them but you know they'll love it and the face when they see it, I just love it!:)

MAKE UP

8 December 2013

OKAY GUYS
I'm doing my Christmas list right now and I really need some recommendations... so if you can help me at all please write in the comments or link me to some of your reviews? Thank you, it's much appreciated :)

  • Good eyeshadow pallets (other than Urban Decay)
  • Good Mosaic Blushes
  • Good cream blushes
  • Good contour palettes (I think that's what you call them?)
  • Thin eyeliner feltips
  • Thin gel eyeliner
ALSO I am very behind on the Real Technique Brushes and have been waiting for Christmas to get them but here's my problem
I really want the Stiffling, Expert, Buffing and Powder brush, but I'm not really sure what's best? I use liquid foundation and pressed powder and stuff, but don't know what's best.

Part of me is tempted to get the Eye Starter pack, Core Collection and the Expert Face brush, becuase it comes to £50, which is a lot, but I can ask seperate people to get them for me which will help save money and if I were to buy the burhses mentioned above, it would come to £40, but why spend around £40 on 4 make up brushes when you can get loads of eye brushes and face brushes for £50

However, another problem is that if I do get the eye brushes, I definitely will need eyeshadow but I don't know what's best and it seems that everyone I follow hasn't done any makeup reviews recently, but please let me know in the comments below!? Thank you soooo much if you do!!:)xoxox

Confessions Of A Blogger

7 December 2013

So today is the day I complete the tag that the lovely Katie from  http://throughkatieslookingglass.blogspot.co.uk tagged me in! Sorry for it being so late Katie!(Go check out her blog it's fab:) )

Okay lets begin!:)
Not my picture
When Did You Start Blogging?
Eurm I think in the summer holidays but I can't remember the exact month...lemme check...I started in August 2013 :)

Have You Had Any Other Online Presence Before?eg Youtube?
Not really, well I started a blog like a week before this one but it was really bad and I made a lot of scatty posts and it was ugly and I just didn't like it so I deleted it and created this one!:)

Why Did You Start Your Blog?
I thought it seemed really fun and I always seem to be wittering on about stuff in real life, however this blog is more beauty/fashion related, but I also want to throw a bit of lifestyle in to because I can speak about a bunch of useless stuff for ages and I speak so fast that anybody listens and my thoughts come at me so quickly that I thought a blog would be great for that! I also found it quite therapeutic when I would write reaaaaaaally long birthday cards or letters for people and thought a blog is just the place to gobble on about stuff! But I haven't really done posts like that but I quite want to...
I have no idea if this makes sense!:')

When Did You Become Serious About Blogging?
I haven't really, I try to post once a week but I'm not serious, like I don't upload every day and my schedule is a bit all over the place, but I guess I'm becoming more serious and I always panic when I realise I haven't posted in a while, I may not have many followers but I like to please you!:)

What Was Your First Post?
Like a wishlist, but I didn't know tricks about blogging back then and I remember getting really frustrated because the pictures weren't grouping together like I wanted and ahhh what a stressful time I had

Where Do You See Your Blog In A Year?
I hope my posts get better and I have a better quality picture and that people enjoy reading what I post, but really I just hope I find it easier to post and I slip into a schedule and yeah!
What Is The Best/Most Rewarding Thing About Blogging?
I love reading your comments and when I get a follow I get really happy and excited, especially when people don't ask for a follow back and I know they're just following for the sheer pleasure of my posts, well I hope thats why anyway...I usually do follow back anyway

What Is The Most Discouraging Thing That Happens/Has Happened?
Nothing really, I get disappointed when I don't know what to post because I don't want to let you guys down in a way? Even though I'm not really but you guys follow me for posts and a lot of the time I'm not happy with they way my posts turn out

What's Your Lasting Blogging Motiviation/Inspiration?
A lot of other bloggers, and I love to think about reaching my next milestone in followers like 75, or 100 and whenever I get a comment it inspires me to try a bit harder!:)

I don't really know who to tag, I always find these bits pretty hard! Anyone who wants to, do it and tell me so I can read yours!:)

Little Things

1 December 2013

Okay firstly thank you to people who have tagged/nominated me for posts, I will do them asap I just want to do this post first because I've had the picture for ages and I finally need to put them to use!

This isn't really a October favourites or anything it's just little things that I'm loving really!

Firstly this cute little keyring my friend got me from her holiday in Turket, I love the colours and the beads at the end but this photo doesn't do it justice! Lord only knows what I was thinking when I done the editing, oh god it looks terrible! But yeah I think it's a really cute key chain and I dont want to put it on my keys because its so pretty! I want to hang it somewhere in my room to be honest, but I don't really own any hanging surfaces!

I'm also really loving this army jacket, but as it gets colder I have to wear it less and less! It's annoying though, because it's not mine it's actually my sisters and she's had it for ages but never wears it anymore, I think the last time she wore it was last years summer!? Yet I still have to beg her to let me wear it and then when she wants to wear something of mine she just takes it, doesnt ask and usually gets her make up all over it and as soon as I mention it to her she'll bring up the one time I took this jacket without asking and she will be so rude and horrible and argh sorry for the rant it's just so annoying having a sister who never wears half her clothes bUT GOD FORBID I BORROW THEM AND GOD FORBID SHE ACTUALLY ASK TO BORROW MY CLOTHES
woah sorry about that but yeah I love this jacket and it goes with basically anything so it's fab really!

Usually I'm a Starbucks kind of girl and I still have so many of their Christmas drinks I need to try and the other when I went in I though I would try something different. It was buy one Christmas special drink get another free so me and my friend thought we would do that but they didn't have the one I wanted, because the Starbucks in the shopping center I go to is pretty crap, but yeah we decided to get the Gingerbread Spiced Latte and she told me it tasted like gingerbread men, so I was all excited. IT DID NOT TASTE LIKE GINGERBREAD MEN AND I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED. I don't like coffee either but I thought I was starting to like it more, evidently not though! It was also super disappointing because we got a large so I was all excited to drink my gingerbread men tasting drink with the Christmas Starbucks cup, but no. I did not enjoy it and it left a horrible taste in my mouth. I personally would not recommend but it depends if you like coffee and ginger really! I really want to try the Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate I think its called? And the orange mocha because although I don't like coffee, I do like mocha's!
Please tell me in the comments below if they're nice though, I don't want to go through that again!
But back to Costa...
I decided to get a White Hot Chocolate Christmas special in Costa and it was delicious! It was sweet and ohh just so lovely, and the cups are adorable too!

Please excuse my mess of a bedroom, but I've been meaning to show you these for ages! These are like fluffy/fleecy pajama bottoms which you can get from Primark and they are so nice. They are cosy and comfortable and they have elastic at the bottom which helps to trap the heat, so perfect for colder nights! When I saw my friend in these I was like what they must feel horrible and I thought they would be all horrible to wear, but they're not! They're so comfy and awh I love them, I have no idea how I survived before! I only have one pair though and I want like 678 more, but me and my mum are on lock down till Christmas to buy more things! (Speaking of which I must do my Christmas list soon, I keep on meaning to but find myself getting distracted!)

Now I got this ages ago, but as my room has got tidier (it's really messy now again, I tidied my room and it was so lovely and clean the other day but earlier I was looking for something and BAM it's a tip again!) But yeah, it's just a really cute little box I think, quite rustic/ vintage and it's from eBay, there's a little mirror inside and like a velvet deep blue lining, I don't know why I didn't take a picture because the way I'm explaining it doesn't give it the complete justice! I don't really know what to put in it either, I just have some hairbands and stuff in there at the minute, it's so cute though and I love it.

This is my mum scarf, but unlike my sister, she doesn't have a problem with sharing! It's a navy blue and the little festive pattern at the bottom. I have a scarf from Topshop as well which is cream which is really good at keeping you warm and is cute, but recently I'm really loving this scarf, doesn't keep you as warm as my Topshop one, but it does a fab job anyway and I love it! I think it's from Primark or Topman, I'm not completely sure, most likely Primark.

Also, of course, I know it's only been the first day of December, but I literally spend the whole month of September through to December waiting for Christmas and you know, once you whip out the Advent Calender it's almost time!:) I always want like a princess or like a cutesy little advent calender, but they always have such horrible chocolate! Last year I remember my sister was home and I forced my mum to get me a Princess one, but I knew the chocolate was going to be horrible, so I swapped mine with my sisters before she got home so I could have the nice chocolate instead, she didn't really care though, she hardly ate hers! I don't understand how people can just miss a day then have like two chocolates the next day, if I miss out a chocolate I will think about it the whole day and will have to have it as soon as I get home! I always want to be able to look at and be like 'Oh woops I missed out four days, guess it means I have to have four today!' But I just can't do it! I also can't eat more the right amount, like skip ahead and eat all 24 chocolates because you just cant do that! Ahaha, anyway I got a Cadbury's one, because you can't go wrong with that chocolate, and it's a make a wish one, so 10% of their profits go the make a wish charity which makes me happy :)

Ohhh cheeky lil selfie

I also got a henna yesterday at my friends old school Christmas fair. They were all so pretty and I just couldn't decide which one to get, but I chose this one in the end and part of me wishes I could have go it on the other side, but I think it looks really nice on my palm and I can easily hide. It's the first ever time I got henna and I love it so much, I think it's so beautiful and people who can do henna are so talented, if I were to try it, it would just look like a massive brown blob on someones hand! These people are so talented, also next weekend I can get more henna, since there's like a yoga thing where my dad teaches and they will be doing henna, I can't wait, honestly I think I'm becoming addicted! If you get the opportunity to get henna, do it! You will love it, although I keep saying quick glimpses of my hand I'm thinking 'OH GOD WHATS HAPPENED TO MY HAND?!' Then I remember ahahaha

Let me know in the comments about Christmas Specials in Starbucks and nay you recommend! Have you ever got henna? Let me know or recommend things! I will try and post soon and do one of these tags, thanks for reading!:)xo

Lee Stafford Sea Salt Spray

23 November 2013

So recently I've been pretty rubbish on my blog, but I have quite a few important tests/exams for the next few weeks but I'm going to try and be more active!:)

Also recently I have been using Lee Stafford Sea Salt Spray a lot. The bottle says to use it on damp hair to give your hair a tousled and wavy look.
I also use it when my hair is dry though when its not looking to good to just give the tousled appearance.  I tried to get a picture of how it makes my hair look but its harder to take a picture of your own hair then I origanlly thought...
I love the look it gives my hair though, it says to spray it around 10 times, but I probably spray it a lot more becuase my hair is so thick and long. Looking at the bottle now I just realised I need to buy another bottle, I'm almost all run out!
The only fault I find with this product is that it makes my hair feel quite dry and horrible if I put too much in, but I need to put in quite a large amount to actually gain the 'I just went swimming in the sea and now my hair looks all lovely' look. It also makes my hair super knotty, but that's only when I spray it on when my hair is dry which is probably why they tell you to spray it on damp hair...

All in all, I think it is a very good product, but I would like to try another sea salt spray, despite this one being great, I would like to try a different one to know if they all make your hair go knotty and all give off the actual scent of just leaving the sea which I'm not particularly fond of... If you know any good sea salt sprays, please let me know in the comments below! However I do love Lee Stafford hair products and quite want to try more of their products, so also let me know in the comments any good products of theirs or link me to any reviews you know of!:)
I honestly don't know why I put off blogging because it only does help me relax!

MCBUSTED

16 November 2013

I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU
BUT I AM SO EXCITED FOR MCBUSTED.
Busted were my childhood, I fangirled over them before I even knew what it was. They were the first band I probably ever heard of and I have loved them for so long.

THE FACT THAT THEY ARE GOING ON TOUR WITH MCFLY MAKES ME SO HAPPY AND YES I GOT TICKETS AND I AM SO EXCITED

Not only do I have tickets, but they are also they day of my birthday!!
I'm 997% sure this is going to be the best birthday I have ever had.
And because band merch is so expensive, I can just ask people to get it for me as a present!;)
Apparently our seats aren't great but to be honest I could not care less as long as I get to see Busted perform and be in the same room as them I am fabulous.

In other news, my ice rink where I go is also staying open for the 'foreseeable future' which also makes things ten times better!:)

Autumn Purchases

8 November 2013

I WENT SHOPPING THE OTHER DAY AND YES I GOT MOM JEANS :D

TOPSHOP

I got these from Topshop for £30.
They are absoloutly beautiful on and I love them so much. They are so comfortable to wear, and light.
I was debating whether to get these or the Urban Outfitters ones, I prefer the Urban Outfitters shape, but they felt really heavy on and cost more than these ones so I decided on the Topshop ones. The shape are basically the same except the Urban Outfitters ones were a bit baggier.

I am now so happy it's the weekend so I can wear these bad boys again, honestly if you are wondering whether to get these or not, they honestly have no faults, except choosing tops can be difficult to wear with them. I personally feel crop tops look best, or a fitted top, but sometimes I wear a long black jumper with it, and it doesnt look bad. They are honestly so comfortable and I could not reccomend them higher.

I also got this top for sale at Topshop, I cant remember the prices but I know I got it for a very good discount.
I just liked the funky buddha, it doesnt go very well with the mom jeans but with some skinnies or leggings it looks great.

I also brought this. I've really wanted a kind of American Jersey thingy for a while and this is exactly what I've been looking for! It is big and baggy and long enough to wear with leggings and cover my bum and would also look great tucked into some high-waisted jeans. I haven't worn it yet, but I'm excited to, I really love it and the whole design of it!

AMERICAN APPAREL

Usually I don't buy stuff from American Apparel and the shop assistants there used to really scare, but me and my Mum went in to buy my sister some jeans she wanted and I saw a really nice velvet crop top, which I thought would go perfectly with my mom jeans, so as I was struggling to get it down, a really nice assistant came over and helped me get it down and she was so sweet.
Then I saw the man at the changing rooms wearing this jumper, it's velvet and burgundy and ohh so soft and comfortable, I love it so much.
I couldn't find it in the shop though but the man obviously had heard us talking about it and said to me it's over there (and pointed to wear it was) which I know is their job but I thought was really nice, especially because previous experiences in there hadn't been so good.
So then I went to the changing rooms, and the crop top was too short and I didn't bother buying it, because I know I wouldn't have felt comfortable wearing it, but I loved the jumper when I tried it on and when I went out to confirm with my Mum that it was indeed nice, the man also said it looked really nice and awh everyone there was so lovely aND GORGEOUS LIKE WOAH EVERYONE THERE IS LIKE MODELS
But yeah basically, I got this jumper and its velvet and so lovely to wear and soft and awh man I just love velvet.

URBAN OUTFITTERS

I only really go to Urban Outfitters when I go to
Westfields, but when I do go, I buy A LOT. It's so hard to shop there, because I try on so many clothes and love them all, but alas, I can only buy some.

I'm editing the pictures now and turns out I only brought two things from Urban Outfitters even though I'm 90% sure I brought loads more but oH WELL

This picture is absolutely terrible and I had to take a picture of the back of it, because the front had a massive stain on the front of it at the time (woops)
Its a crop top and goes so well with the mom jeans, and you can wear it with any type of jeans really, or disco pants, I reckon it goes best with high wasited things though. Obviously it's comfy because its all baggy, but it looks so nice with the mom jeans, and I was going to buy it myself because it was meant to be like £20 or something, but for some reason it only ended up being £5!
I really love this top though and literally have not stopped wearing it.

When I first saw this jumper, I wasn't too sure, but oh my goodness I love it now. It is so cozy and looks so nice with my mom jeans and Joni jeans from Topshop.
I roll up the sleeves with it, but it looks nice with them rolled down too. It's a very bright colour, but it is so nice and the perfect colour for Autumn in my opinion! You can't really tell from the picture, but it's like a blood orangey colour.

The other day I wore it with my mom jeans, frilly socks and my jellys and I personally thought it looked lovely! If I wear it again any time soon I will take a picture and show you, because I was very proud of that outfit, not going to lie;)

Have any of you guys brought anything recently? Let me know your opinions on these purchases!:) I really want a cute little vintage ring but I never see any anywhere, or I see a cute ring in Topshop or something, and it costs loads! Do you know any good ring places?:)
Also thank you so much for 50 followers on Bloglovin'!:)xoxo

Sorry

7 November 2013

Blog Help

3 November 2013

So the other day I changed the background of my blog but didn't like it and went to change it back, but when I selected my original background picture, all the colours had been turned dark.
It wasn't my computer and it also kep happening when I tried to sort out my header, but after doing some research I found out how to fix it.

OKay so basically, if whenever you upload a picture onto your blog, or when you're sorting out your design and your picture keeps turning darker what you have to do it:

  • Go to your google+ page (or just click here like I did..the pictures are furrther down though so look there)
There is no reason I covered my face except the fact I don't really like the picture and again there isn't really a reason I covered my email address.
However if you do need to email me it is in the contact section in my blog.
  • On the left hand side Google+ should be an option, click on it
  • Keep scrolling down till you get to auto enhance, then when you get there select off, even if there is nothing selected press off.
This should then stop your pictures from going all dark and your background images and headers not being the right colour! Hope this helps!:)

I plan on doing a normal post tomorrow, but I just hope this helps you if you are struggling with your blog!:)

FURTHER DEVELOPMENT

23 October 2013

Okay this is carrying on from my last post, so you know how I kind of deperatley want Troye to know that I made the bracelet well guESS WHOSE TOP COMMENT ON ONE OF HIS VIDEOS
If you want to give my comment a like I wouldn't mind;)...you know the longer I'm up there the more chance of him seeing.
But can we take a minute, the amount of people who replied to my comment saying 'Can we just what???????????????????' like I don't know let us all just sit here and fan girl together !:D:)

Also I messaged another youtuber on tumblr ((his name is Jack Dodge, go check out his channel, he deserves way more subs than he actually has)) and he tweETED ABOUT MY COMMENT AND AWH GUYS I'M JUST SO HAPPY MY LIFE IS SO FAB AT THE MOMENT BUT IM SCARED BECAUSE THAT MEANS SOMETHING BAD WILL HAPPEN SOON

Just slipping in some more information, I made a post on tumblr about Troye wearing my bracelet and hE LIKED IT. GUYS I HAVE BEEN NOTICED BY HIM. MY LIFE IS COMPLETE AND I AM NOW THE NUMBER ONE COMMENT ON HIS 'HOW TO FASHION' VIDEO. I could not be any happier and everytime I see this it just asdfghjkl.

How are you're lives? I hope all is good and I'm sorry if these posts annoy you, but yaknoooo TroYE

Troye Sivan

22 October 2013

GUYSGUYSGUYSGUYSGUYS
I AM CRYING
AND SCREAMING
I HAVE A STORY FOR Y'ALL

I HAVE SO MANY STORIES FOR YOU BUT I'M JUST GOING TO TALK ABOUT THE ONE, I WILL TELL YOU MY SUMMER IN THE CITY STORY ANOTHER TIME WHEN I HAVE THE ENERGY BECAUSE LET ME TELL YOU JUST THINKING ABOUT THAT DAY SENDS MY HEART ALL OVER THE PLACE

right I need to stop shouting.

Basically long story short, at a youtube gathering last year I didn't get to meet Troye Sivan, a youtuber that I am absolutely in love with and always have been, BUT I had written him a letter and somebody came round collecting all the letters to give to Troye, so I gave that to him to give to Troye.

It's been a while and I kind of forgot about the letter till in Troyes One Million Subs Reaction Video he raised his hand to his mouth and what do I see.
THE BRACELET I MADE HIM
HE WAS WEARING THE BRACELET I MADE HIM
Right okay no shouting be quite ajhdfjgfbdhjfn
I would also like to add, he was just wearing the on bracelet, not a whole bunch of them, just one. The one I MADE for him, DO YOU UNDERSTAND THE SIGNIFICANCE?!?!

So I was crying and snapchatting and texting all my friends and I have literally been thinking about it all day ( I haven't got tickets yet but I swear to God I am going to Summer In The City next year and I am going to meet Troye.)
Then today I came home from school and rather than working and revising I thought hey why not stalk Troye.

I don't know how I didn't realise this before, but he has been wearing my bracelet in 6 VIDEOS, 7 INCLUDING THE REACTION ONE AND I CAN NOT BELIEVE I DIDN'T REALISE THIS BEFORE AND HOW LONG HE HAS BEEN WEARING IT I CAN'T EVEN NOPE. Ahhh guys I'm so happy right now, I'm crying and it makes me feel so special.

Not only because he is wearing the bracelet I made him, but it means he must have read my letter and he has been wearing it for so long, with no other bracelets on that wrist and I don't know if you understand why the fact he wears it with no other bracelets makes me so happy, but it does and I don't know HOW to put it into words also it's a hard bracelet to put on, you would need someone to tye it up so rather than not bothering, he got someone to tie it on to him and I'm just so happy and so in love with him.

I want him to know that I know he's wearing the bracelet I made and how grateful I am, but I don't have a twitter I use properly, I just follow a bunch of people like youtubers, actors etc and never tweet but I've messagde him on tumblr and commented on his videos and I hope he will look and see.

Order of these videos (left to right):

  • Heart Break Girl-5 Seconds of Summer Cover
  • How To Be Troye Sivan
  • How To Fashion
  • Who Is Your Man-Crush
  • The What Is It Challenge ft Blessing
  • 1 Million Subscribers
  • How To Take Over Sydney (Tyler Oakleys channel)
  • One Million Subscribers Live Reaction (On Troyes second channel More Troye) THE VIDEO I FIRST REALISED LORD ONLY KNOWS HOW I DIDN'T SEE BEFORE
Look at it I'm so ahh I can't stop crying about it!!

Todays Purchases

20 October 2013

So after my post on Thursday, it inspired me to do some shopping.
However I didn't get everything I want but plan on going shopping again next week hopefully.

Today was just about getting some things off my list, but I think I've only actually brought one thing from my list.. Wait no I got three, my suit pajamas (I brought two but one pair ripped when I bent my arm so I shall be returning them!), hand cream and lip balm.

Everything I show you I plan on doing reviews of, so there won't be much writing.

I got this from Primark, around £1 I think.
I've heard Carmex is really good at keeping your lips moisturised which will be very helpful since cold weather is approaching!I'm not really a fan of this shape, but it's all they had and I can still dab it on with my fingers :)

This was also £1 from Primark. You can also get it from Boots/Superdrug but it costs more.
I wanted more of a girly, sweet smelling hand cream where as this one smells very clean and plant-like, I think it's an alright scent.
My hands always get so dry in winter and Vaseline is a very good brand so helpfully this will help them stay hydrated!

Vaseline Hands+UV Protection Hand Cream
Pure Aloe+some word which I'm, 92% sure they made up...

This lipstick isn't exactly the shade I wanted. There was only one though and no tester and it looked like the colour I wanted.

It's not the deep red I was looking for, but I think it's a really nice just normal red. Hopefully I can get a darker shade soon, or just have to wait for Christmas! I know it's only October but I already have a looong Christmas present list!

It's from Little Mix's brand from Collection(I didn't even know they had make up!) It's really good and only cost £2/3, I can't remember which.

If you know any lipsticks that are exactly like the colour that this one looks like, please let me know in the comments!

I wanted to get a nice, wintery, darker shade of nail varnish since it's autumn and all, and I am really loving the matte nail varnishes from Barry M, I thought there was an offer going on there where it was buy 3 for £5 but apparently I was too late to jump on the band wagon...
However I ended up getting this pink, nail varnish with gold flecks. I haven't used it yet so I don't know if it will feel like your typical glittery nail varnish, however I'm a bit worried to try this out because I didn't notice this when buying it, but apparently it's textured?! I don't understand how this could be textured, and if it is textured will that just give it an extra glittery rough feel? Because I don't think I would like that...buuuuut I'd still use it because its an adorable colour and reminds me of fairiess :)

I also brought a deodorant. I love this deodorant, obviously it stops you stinking of BO and it smells so nice! It just reminds me of Australia because when we went it was the deodorant we took and obviously it was sprayed a lot because it was BOILING out there and ahh now the smell just reminds of it :)
It's Soft&Gentle Extra Fresh in lotus and watermelon

I brought this Soap and Glory spray, I got a big bottle of this around a year and a half ago and absolutely loved it and saw it so thought, may as well buy it! I can't remember the price, but I think considering the size of the bottle it was quite a bit, but you only need a few sprays and it smells absolutely lovely, I can't think of how to describe it, quite fruity but not that sweet, it's a really clean smell. If that makes sense..?:')
It's called Mist You Madly and I got it in 100ml from Boots

I've been meaning to get a long chain necklace for a while and this one fits the bill perfectly! I love the colour and feel like it will go well with a lot of things.
 £3 from Primark!:)

I've been using this conditioner for a while, it doesn't really help my hair stay blonde since my hair is naturally this colour and I think it's meant for died hair, but since my mum brought me 4 bottles of the shampoo for this rather than 2 shampoos and 2 conditioners, I had to get the matching conditioner. I hate when they're not matching!
A while ago my sister told me about some amazing almond soap bar from health shops and stuff which helps keep your hair in good condition, for it to grow, give it shine and strengthen it which sounds amazing and especially because it's from health shops it means there won't be any nasty chemicals but my mum didn't  tell me about it and only remembered the other day when I brought up the Lush shampoo bar and now neither my sister or mum can remember what the name is! (if you know I'd be very grateful if you put it in the comments!)

It's called John Frieda Sheer Blonde Conditioner Go Blonder, by two for £8 at Boots which is pretty

I finally got a pair of tweezers the other day. After years of asking (don't ask why I never got them myself I just always forgot but would always ask my Mum to get me when she went shopping!) She finally came home with a pair of tweezers for me, and they are really good!
I cant remember the name, but they are from Boots and are really good, and are really good at getting the hairs and pulling them out!
It's so odd whenever I do anything to my eyebrows, like pluck or thread them, my eyes always water and I can't stop sneezing sometimes!

Let me know in the comments any of your recent purchases or any recommendations, especially about the almond bar of shampoo and where I could get a dark shade of red lipstick ,the cheaper the better!:)xox

The Beauty Blogger Tag

13 October 2013

I was nominated for this tag by Charlotte from Make Up By Candlelight (I highly recommend you check out her blog, she has amazing posts and is so lovely! makeupbycandlelight.blogspot.co.uk)

RULES

  • State the tag was created by THE BEAU BOW
  • Tag as many other blogs that you like
  • Title this post as The Beauty Blogger Tag
Lets begin!:)

1) Name a beauty routine you rarely do
I never moisturise. I don't know if this counts as a beauty routine but it's something I never do when I really should. My lips are all chapped and my legs are so dry it's just terrible, the only thing I do moisturise is my face!
I really need to start moisturing though especially since winter is coming!

2) Is washing your makeup brushes something you regularly do?
Nope...I do sometimes but not often. I think it's because I don't really like my makeup brushes so just forget about them, I'm waiting for the day I get some actual make up brushes that aren't horrible because then I know I will look after them very well and since I started reading so many blogs I know loads of way to clean them :)

3) How long do you last with chipped nail varnish?
Not long. I am terrible at painting my nails, as soon as they start to chip I just pick them off and I can't stand having naked nails so my whole life is basically me painting my nails, repainting them because they smudged about 500 times, them chipping me picking it off and then re do them the next day!

4) How long do you put off buying/replacing a beauty item or nail varnish even if you need it?(eg foundation, eyeliner)
Like a million years...I'm just such a procrastinator. Although recently I've started to get into makeup more so I think from now on I'll be more prepared, with nail varnish though I just steal my sisters sharing is caring and all that jazz ;).

5) What is your worst beauty habit?
Not caring about my eyeliner. I'm terrible at apply it so if one eye is really thick and the other is perfect, I'll just pretend I didn't realise how bad my other eye is. The same goes for when I try to do flicks if one is way bigger than the other rather than making the other eye match it I just leave it and hope nobody will notice.. ALTHOUGH I am getting better:)

6) Name something non-beauty related that you always put off
Literally everything. There is the obvious homework, tidying my room.
I always put off watching films if that counts? No matter how much I want to watch a film I will not watch it unless someone forces me, I have no idea why but I guess I can't be bothered to watch a film which is weird because watching a film requires no effort!
Key exampled of putting off watching films, I have wanted to watch Iron Man 3 since I first heard about it,which was ages ago and I still haven't woops... I might watch it today after I've done everything I need to..:)

7) When going out somewhere do you leave getting ready to the last minute or not?
No I always plan when to start getting ready and if it's a big event I will give myself loads of time, yet I'm always late. If I'm only going to meet friends though I don't give myself much time and that's why I'm probably late when I see them..

8) Can you commit to spending bands?
For make up yes, for clothes I struggle.

9) How organised is your make up and nail polish collections?
Not very. My room is tiny and I have no room to keep anything which is super annoying I have a tiny little make up bag which doesn't work very since my make up collection is growing and growing. I love my room though, just need more storage space then it will all be good, but I have no room for storage so argh I don't know.. My sister might be going to uni though soon (or next year I don't know) which means I would be able to get the big room and have all that room for little boxes to store things!:) Unless when she goes my other sister comes back, in which case I'll have to stick in my room probably until I move out!

10) What is the longest time you've gone without writing a blog post?
I think a week, but I'm going to try and upload twice a week, once mid week and then on the weekend, might go crazy and post twice on the weekend though, who knows!:)

I tag:
Kate Berlin (I nominated her for the liebster award too, I just really love her blog!)
